Booking Tickets
From Thursday 1st January 2015 all Academy Music Group venues will be implementing a new system for booking accessible tickets.

Proof of disability will be required on each booking. One of the accepted forms of proof will be the Access Card. For more information on this card and details how to obtain one please click here. The Access Card informs providers quickly and discreetly about the support and facilities a person may require when attending the venue.

For non-Access Card holders a booking form can be obtained from the venue and must be returned via email or post with a copy of one of the following documents DLA (Disability Living Allowance) letter or equivalent (Christmas bonus letters are not accepted), recognised assistance dog card or evidence that the person is registered with severe sight impairments. Any sensitive information such as address and amounts can be blanked out.

All copies received will be securely destroyed once requirements have been obtained.

To book tickets for O2 Academy Bournemouth

Please book your ticket through www.ticketweb.co.uk and then contact the venue on 01202 399922 or info@o2academybournemouth.co.uk to discuss arrangements and organise your companion ticket should one be required.

After purchasing your ticker please contact the venue direct on 01202 399922 or email info@o2academybournemouth.co.uk with their booking number to discuss arrangements.

You can also contact the box office through text relay by 18002 01202 399922 should this be required.

Once you have been in contact with the venue you will be sent an email confirmation that should be printed off and brought with you when you attend the event.

Spaces may be limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Companion / Carer Ticket
This venue offers one free companion ticket this can be booked by contacting the venue directly. These can be limited in availability so please ensure you contact the venue as soon as possible to arrange.

Companion / carer ticket holders should be able to meet the needs and assist the person they are accompanying in the event of an emergency.

Arriving at the Venue
We recommend arriving at the venue 10 - 15 minutes prior to the doors opening. The door time will be stated on the tickets or confirmations. Please try to arrive at the venue no later than 60 minutes after the doors open.

On arrival please go to the Box Office with confirmation email.

Accessible Area & Facilities
Entry to the venue is via the front doors and is level access. On arrival the box office is just inside the front doors and has level access through to the main auditorium.

There are two areas at O2 Academy Bournemouth for disabled patrons.

Ground Floor - the ground floor has level access from the entrance and will be made on a show by show basis to suit customer needs.

Dress Circle – there is an area located in the Dress Circle which is accessed by stairs. The area can accommodate up to approximately 15 people

There is 1 accessible toilet on the Ground Floor this is accessed by a radar key.

The venue does not have lowered sections at the Bars. If assistance is required please ask for a member of security or Management who will get a supervisor to bring your drinks / take orders.

Box Office
The Box Office inside the venue is at an accessible height and has an induction loop.

Merchandise is located on the ground floor in an accessible location. Staff are always happy to assist

The Nearest railway station is Bournemouth Station and this is accessible.

Local parking is located at Hawkwood Road, this is accessible.

The Nearest bus station is Boscombe Bus station which is approximately 500 meters from the venue
